Questions?
Let’s make it simple.
Loading a game, saving a favorite, or finding the sound controls? Start here.
Getting started
Find a game and get past the loading screen.
Do I need an account or an installation?
No Pure Lattice account or launcher is needed. Choose a game, read its controls, and press Play. The game loads from the author’s external host only when you start it. You need an internet connection to load the page and its assets.
Why is a game blank or taking a long time to load?
The game’s own assets may still be loading after its frame opens. Some larger 3D games take several minutes on a slow connection. Check your connection and allow time, then try Reload or the Open original game link. Browser privacy settings, WebGL support, available memory, and the author’s host can affect loading. The portal’s “frame opened” message does not confirm that the game is ready.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
The collection includes touch controls, but comfort and performance depend on the game and device. Check the controls and recommended orientation on each game page. The 41 added English-interface games use taps, holds, releases or sliding gestures. Use Expand for more room. Browser touch emulation has been checked; that is not a guarantee for every physical device or browser.
Why are some games in Chinese?
The original 19 MEST games mainly use Chinese menus and text. The 41 added open-source games use English. Every listing has an English guide and identifies its game language. The guide explains controls and first steps; it does not translate every menu or story line.
Controls & display
Make a little room and find the right controls.
The keyboard or touch controls are not responding. What should I try?
Click or tap inside the game first, and check its on-page instructions. Some games require a tap to start before movement works; others use a held press rather than a quick tap. On touch screens, keep gestures inside the game area. If controls remain unusable, try Open original game and tell us the game, device, browser and steps that failed.
What is the difference between Expand and Fullscreen?
Expand enlarges the player inside this page and keeps the same game frame. Close returns to the normal layout. Fullscreen asks your browser to use its fullscreen mode; support varies by device. If Fullscreen is unavailable, use Expand. Escape closes the expanded player when the surrounding page has keyboard focus; a focused game may handle Escape itself, so the visible Close button is also available.
How do I pause a game or turn its sound off?
Use the game’s own pause, sound or settings controls when provided. Some browsers require your first click or tap before sound can begin. Pure Lattice cannot pause or mute the internals of a game running on another origin. Expanding a game or switching tabs is not a reliable pause command. Unload removes the frame, but may discard unsaved progress.
What happens when I use Reload or Unload?
Reload replaces the current game frame with a new one. Unload removes it and returns to the Play prompt. Both can lose unsaved progress; neither clears the game host’s stored saves. Expand and Close preserve the existing frame instead.
Favorites & progress
Keep your links close, and understand where saves live.
How do I save a favorite?
Press a game’s heart button, then visit My games. Press the heart again to remove it. Favorites are links saved in this browser, not downloaded games or saved gameplay.
Why did my favorites or recent games disappear?
These lists use this site’s localStorage in the current browser. Clearing site data, using another browser or device, or leaving a private session can remove or separate them. If persistent storage is blocked, the current tab keeps a temporary list in memory. No account or cross-device synchronization is offered.
Does Pure Lattice save or sync my game progress?
No. Each externally hosted game manages its own progress and settings, if it supports saving. Pure Lattice cannot read, back up or sync a separate-origin game’s saves. Embedded storage can be restricted by browser privacy settings, and the direct game may have different storage availability. Check the game’s own instructions before reloading or leaving.
Does “Recently played” mean that I finished a game?
No. Recent history records when you press Play on this site. It does not verify that a game finished loading, track your score, or record completion. Use My games to clear saved links or recent history separately.
Privacy & contact
Know what loads, who made the games, and where to get help.
What data does the site store?
The portal stores favorite game identifiers and recently opened game links in your browser when storage is available. Its contact form only checks a local draft: it does not send or store it. The interface currently has no advertising or analytics integration. Loading an external game contacts its host and any services used by that game, which have separate behavior and policies. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Who made these games, and where are their licenses?
The shelf includes 19 original personal projects by MEST and 41 open-source games by ABA Games. Each game page links to its source and credits; the added ABA Games titles also link to their MIT license. Engines, audio and other assets can have separate notices. Visit Creator & credits for attribution rather than assuming every asset has the same license.
How do I report a broken game, a guide correction or a rights concern?
Visit Contact and use the displayed email address in your own email service. Include the game name, page URL, device, browser and the steps that caused the issue. A rights concern should identify the work, exact location and your relationship to it. The draft checker on Contact does not send messages. Do not include passwords or private save data.
