Cards, targets, and careful turns
Secret Covenant is a card-based route through encounters, shops and rests. Read an enemy’s intention, inspect a card, and choose a target before confirming. It rewards understanding the current turn rather than clicking quickly, and a branching route lets you think about recovery as well as the next fight.
Your first few minutes
Inspect the starting hand without committing a play. Compare an enemy’s intent with the defensive and offensive options in front of you, then confirm one action and observe the response.
A friendly tip
Think about the turn after this one. Spending every resource immediately can leave fewer options when a dangerous intention appears. Review a card’s target before confirming.
