Timber Test — a quick play break

Cut a moving log into the requested number of even pieces. The saw travels for you; your job is choosing the moments to cut. Each round asks you to judge proportions rather than move a tool manually.

Your first few minutes

Start a round and watch the saw cross the log. Tap when it reaches the fraction needed for the first piece.

A friendly tip

Judge the full original length before cutting; the remaining piece gets smaller after each successful cut.
